+About Us
Our Story
Neil and Kathrina first met in a crowded heated yoga studio in the spring of 2012. Neil couldn’t take his eyes off of her and wished that he could be invisible just to look at her for a moment longer. Eight months later, Neil worked up the courage to ask Kathrina out on a date. Soon there were speedy Vespa rides, beautiful hikes in Marin, travels to Morocco and Portugal, and sweet introductions to their families, blending love and two cultures into one. Neil proposed to Kathrina while on a canoe in the middle of Emerald Lake in the Canadian Rocky Mountains of British Columbia, one of their favorite places in the world. Kathrina said yes and they have been over the moon since. Eight years together, three years engaged, and two times postponed, they are so happy to have family and friends come together for this magical, celebratory weekend!

Plan to arrive between 5:00 - 5:15 pm with live Indian classical musicians playing in the garden. Cocktail reception, dinner, and dancing immediately to follow.
Attire: summertime semi-formal/formal. Indian and Filipino elements will be included throughout the evening. Saris, salwars, or suits encouraged, if you feel so inclined. Or, do like Kathrina and have a dress change! Bring your dancing shoes for some old school 90's hip hop and vibrant bhangra to dance the night away.

Carmel Valley is located two hours south of San Francisco or one and a half hours south of San Jose by car.
For out of town guests, we recommend flights into SFO or SJC, but the smaller regional airport of Monterey MRY works as well.
